It's Time for the 2019 WWPW

By Roger (28 August 2019)

There hasn't been a new blog in months, but it's not like we've given up photography. In fact, I went to Photoshop World; bought another camera; and have been posting a couple of photos every week on Instagram. Work has just kept both of us busy.

Regardless, it is time for the annual Worldwide Photowalk, sponsored by the Kelby Media Group. It is scheduled for Saturday, 5 October. This will be the tenth year Mark and I have led one of the walks, and we're headed to historic Staunton, Virginia. Our walk will begin at 9:00 a.m., at the Farmer's Market, near 18 Byers Street, Staunton, Va 24401. There is free parking.

We'll walk around the market, an old train station, and lots of places downtown. We'll end our walk at the same location and have lunch at Byers Street Bistro. It's an easy walk, with a few minor hills and a major variety of photo subjects. Bring any camera you desire, even your phone. Skill level is unimportant, and there will be people there to help if you need it.

The walk is free, but you must register, as always. The link to our walk is https://worldwidephotowalk.com/walk/staunton-downtown/

It would be great to see everyone. And, who knows, maybe, we can talk about blog topics and get this blog thing rolling, again.

This is my favorite shot from last year’s WWPW, in Winchester.
