Since it has been a little chilly and I have been working on a huge project at work, I have been shamefully neglecting my photography, and, as Roger reminds me, the blog. At the end of the year, I try and go through and look at the photos I shot that year to try and pick out my favorite. Just a few statistics first-thanks to Adobe Lightroom I can do this, in 2010 I shot and kept 6035 photos. Of those, 1198 were interesting enough to be looked at. When I count up all the photos that I rated as 3 star or higher, the total was exactly 60 pictures. That represents 1% of all the photos I shot, and I really believe 2010 was a very good year. From those 60 photos I went through and looked at the ones that really touched me. I did pull out some of the ones I’ve in the blog recently and the pictures of my good looking kids, but here are my choices. Half of the photos come from my Greece trip.
Music was still a big part of year as well. My portrait of this young lady, Miss Tina Hughes captured her musical intensity. She has been accepted to Berklee Music School up in Boston. She will do wonderfully.
Finally, here is my favorite photo from last year.
